Week of Travel
Back from LA today, leaving for SD maybe the day after tomorrow. You'll excuse me if comics are lackluster or missing this week.

Probably no comic tonight
I'm about to leave for a trip down the five to LA to interview at a program for teaching abroad. We'll see if i come up with anything to draw and/or have the energy to draw anything when get there tonight. So chins up, little shavers, but most likely you're not getting anything.

Ozymandias

Filler. Sorry. Working on my AEON shiz. This is an exercise in gradients i attempted, not completely to my satisfaction. It's the closest i could get to what i wanted, but what i wanted was to have the city actually be detailed, and slowly fade out to the right. Couldn't figure out how to gradient opacity for numerous layers, though.

Rejected Ad Idea

This is filler in the sense that it wasn't drawn specifically for the purpose of posting in this blog. Distressingly i didn't have any time to draw a comic this evening because i've spent most of my time tonight watching Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog over and over. The rest of the evening looks like it's going to be more of the same.
In any case, Robin and i have been hashing out ideas for a certain ad dealy thing that may or may not come to fruition. This is one of my many ideas that Robin wisely decided not to look at more than twice. You may or may not choose to imagine the narrator as Bruce Cambell at your own discretion.
Oh yeah, but anyways:

Watch it. It's only up until the 22nd, after which you have to buy it. But you know what, buy it anyways. It's only $3.99 for forty-five minutes of pretty much unadulturated awesome. And having had the current entertainment media system explained to me in great detail, and hearing how meesed up it is and how much creative content is at the whim of profits, i'm more than up for supporting someone trying to upset the status quo (which is apparently one of the goals of this project).
